Reports have come in from AFP that Hossein Fereydoun, younger brother and aide to Iranian President Rouhani has been arrested and taken to prison on 'financial charges'.

Fereydoun has previously been described as Rouhani's 'eyes and ears', but in the lead up to this year's presidential election 46 law makers called on Rouhani to present his brother to the judiciary to face 'financial corruption charges'.
