Jordan’s professional associations, political parties and other activists staged a sit-in Friday in the yard of the associations’ offices in Amman in protest of the Israeli hostilities against the Palestinian towns, which started Thursday afternoon and lasted overnight.
Thousands of demonstrators will set out in a march to the Prime Ministry after Friday prayers, which will be followed by prayers for the souls of the more than 100 Palestinian who fell martyr in clashes with Israeli soldiers over two weeks of bloody violence.
Rallies are also planned by the Palestinian refugees in the Wehdat and Hussein Camps in Amman.
Jordanians have since the outbreak of the Intifada staged more than 250 protests before the government banned such activities last week.
