Danish Foreign Minister Per Stig Moller, whose country holds the European Union (EU) rotating presidency is due to travel to Turkey and Greece on Monday and Tuesday, to stress the significance of putting an end to the Cyprus problem.
A press release from the Danish EU presidency said Moller would travel to Turkey and Greece on December 2-3 in the framework of preparations for the Copenhagen European Council to be held between December 12-13, according to the Cyprus News Agency.
Moller said he is “looking forward in particular to discussing the Cyprus issue and Turkey’s relations with the EU” with his Turkish and Greek colleagues. (Albawaba.com)
