A delegate from the Dubai Courts Visits Nobel Museum

A delegate from the Dubai Courts visited the Alfred Nobel Innovation of Networks Museum,  which was opened on 30th March and will run on Dubai Men’s College campus till 29th May 2008.   The delegation was headed by Dr. Ahmed Bin Hazeem, Director General of Dubai courts along with 20 of the Dubai Courts Directorates.

Dr. Philip Hicks, College Director, along with other members of the management team received the delegation.  The students group guided the tour of the museum where they explained the details of the 5 pavilions of the exhibition.

After the tour of the museum, the delegation went on a tour of the college facilities.  During their tour in the different departments of the college they saw the projects and inventions of the students.  They were highly impressed with the achievement of the students and with the huge and modern facilities available in the college.  Also they visited the Learning and Techno Centers where they saw the new methods and technology used in this center in delivering information to the students in a very advanced and easy way.

The delegate expressed their  admire on the main role of the Higher Colleges of Technology in the academic field and about their fast progress and development in the educational field as well as the rapid growth in the number of the students and the graduates.  In addition, Dr. Bin Hazeem, said: “It was a great pleasure for me to visit the Alfred Nobel Innovations of Network Exhibition, as Nobel is the founder of the most important award in the world.  I also feel proud that Dubai, specially at Dubai Men’s College, is the first stop on the mobile tour of the world for the museum.  This is a clear indication that the success and progress that UAE in general and HCT in particular has achieved in educating and preparing qualified graduates for the industry is highly appreciated and considered to be one of the highest levels.”

Dr. Hicks guided the tour of the college and briefed about the history of the Higher Colleges of Technology and the main role they play in the development of UAE.  Also he informed them about the caliber of male and female graduates who are now holding important positions in the country.
