The death toll in the collapse of a building in a poor Cairo neighborhood rose to eleven, including three children, on Monday, according to police officials. Nine others were injured, the Saudi Press Agency said.
The aging, five-story building, situated in the al-Warraqarea on the west bank of the Nile River, was being renovated when it collapsed on Sunday. A 50-year-old government worker owned it. (Albawaba.com)
