At least 10 people have been killed after a twin car bomb attack at a protest camp north of the capital Baghdad.
The attack took place near Tuz Khurmato village, 175km (110 miles) north of Baghdad. In January, 23 people were killed at a Shia mosque in the same village.
The BBC reported that the protestors were understood to be ethinic Turkmen, calling for better security in the region. At least 55 people are reported to have been injured in Tuesday's attack, including local politicians.
Meanwhile in southern Iraq, three people were killed when a bomb exploded on a bus in the town of Iskandiriya. The bus was taking Shia pilgrims to the holy city of Karbala.
The attacks come as violence continues to escalate in Iraq. Last month was the bloodies month since 2008, with more than 1000 people killed in May, according to a UN report.
