Darkom, Jordan’s first housing loan insurance company successfully concluded the training workshop it held for Cairo Amman Bank employees. The workshop, which was held throughout the month of March, was aimed at training employees of the Cairo Amman Bank on housing loans mechanisms..
The workshop targeted all managers, assistants and employees of the Cairo Amman Bank branches across the Kingdom. Mr. Hisham Jaber and Mr. Ihab Al Ibrahim in addition to the company’s Technical Consultant Mr. William Patry chaired the workshop proceedings.
The workshop’s proceedings served to shed light on various topics relevant to mortgage financing. It also explored the term “housing loan” by devising a clear definition and concept of the term. The event also served to explore Darkom’s strategies, product and services along with the operational strategies it adopts in cooperation with Cairo Amman Bank.
The event was a successful means for answering all questions and inquiries made by the Bank’s staff. The operations Manager of Darkom, Mr. Hisham Jaber highlighted topics, showing the most important services that the company provides, pointing to the possibility of designing products with the bank that can be available in the local markets soon.
The workshop also shed light on Darkom’s role as a facilitator of financing solutions to citizens coming from low and medium income earning households, by granting them access to long-term housing loans with flexible payment terms that extend up to 30 years.
After successfully concluding the training, Mr. Waseem Wael Zurub handed out training certificates to Cairo Amman Bank employees. He expressed his gratitude for the workshop’s success, pointing out the importance of enhancing the relationship between Darkom and Bank employees, in order to reach practical solutions successfully and to provide the regional and international markets with pioneer products.
One of Cairo Amman Bank’s employees pointed out the importance of this training workshop as a means to help strengthening the cooperation with Darkom.
He also said, “Several important topics were referred to in the training that needed to be explained in order to design clear plans and strategies. Darkom offers new housing loan insurance products in the local markets”.
It is important to note that Darkom recently signed the agreement with Cairo Amman Bank, through which it will give community members regardless of their socio-economic background the opportunity to obtain long-term housing loans with competitive interest rates; flexible payment terms, reduced down payments, and reduced monthly installments. –ENDS-
