Crane Aerospace & Electronics, a segment of Crane Co. (NYSE:CR), has announced the appointment of Dan Link as Vice President and General Manager of their Burbank, California site. In this role, Dan will be responsible for site operations, supply chain and operational excellence. Link is transferring from Crane Co.’s corporate offices in Stamford, Connecticut where he served on the Operational Excellence team.
Before he joined Crane Co., Link was with the Danaher Corporation where he was Vice President of Operations for the Thomson Division of Danaher Motion. Prior to working for Danaher, Link spent ten years at Emerson in positions of increasing responsibility, including Director of Asia Pacific Plant Operations, Director of Lean Enterprise and Plant Manager of Fisher North Stonington. Prior to Emerson, he worked in operations and engineering roles at General Dynamics’ Electric Boat Division in Groton, Connecticut. Link has a Master’s in Business Administration degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Union College.
