Damascus Radio stressed on Tuesday that the US guarantees Sharon attained during his latest visit to Washington confirm that America "retracted its stances towards the peace process, the road map and the Palestinian people’s right to return".

"The American stance was a green light to Sharon to continue his policy of assassinations against the Palestinian leaders under the pretext of self-defence and to complete the building of the racial wall of separation that eats up half of the lands in the West Bank, in addition to launching a series of threats that uncover the Israeli organized state terrorism", the state-run radio said, according to SANA news agency.

It pointed out to the Israeli idea of marketing the occupation’s legitimacy through imposing it "vehemently", which means deleting the Security Council’s resolutions that confirm the illegitimacy of occupying others’ lands by force.

The report concluded by asserting that the Arab reaction to the Israeli aggressive policy requires crystallizing an active strategy able to face the Israeli defiance. (Albawaba.com)
