Damascus Radio reported Sunday that the US talk about “supporting international legitimacy and bolstering world stability and security - contradict the US preparations to strike Iraq and its support to Israel in its open-ended aggression against (the) Palestinian people.”
The state-run radio slammed the US selectivity in dealing with United Nations Resolutions, citing Washington’s “blind support” to Israel’s practice of terrorism, the SANA news agency reported. “The US Administration stands by Israel in its aggressive war against (the) Palestinians and gives (Israeli Prime Minister Ariel) Sharon an open chance to eliminate and expel the Palestinians,” the Syrian radio stated.
