Damascus Radio on Saturday strongly criticized the US administration, which, according to the Syrian radio, declares that new Jewish settlements are destroying peace in the region, while it “offers billions of dollars”, in financial support to the Zionist entity for building new settlements.
The state-run radio affirmed that the government of “terrorist (Israeli Prime Minister) Ariel Sharon has used the occasion of Eid al-Fitr for escalating its aggression on the Palestinians, by launching missiles against the leaders of the Palestinian Intifada or uprising.
"It has become clear now that the Israeli government which enjoys the unlimited support of the US administration, is determined to turn the life of the Palestinians into a real hell", the Syrian radio added, according to SANA news agency.
Furthermore, the Radio urged Arabs to defend their common causes because the danger is targeting all parties with no exception, emphasizing that supporting the Palestinian Intifada and the Iraqi people remain the basis for any Arab serious moves in facing current challenges. (Albawaba.com)
