Damascus Radio reported on Sunday that Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon’s “escalation of war” against the Palestinians was “not surprising”, because the Israeli leader is “currently loose of all control”, due to the “full support” of the United States.
The state-run radio stressed that Premier Sharon aimed at occupying the West Bank and spiking the peace process, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency.
The radio further expressed wonder over whether it was not surprising that Sharon is a “man of peace”, while the unarmed Palestinians are the terrorists who deserved liquidation. (Albawaba.com)
