Syria said Palestinian president Yasser Arafat sent a message to President Bashar Al-Assad Saturday in a move seen as improving relations between the two.
President Al-Assad met with Palestinian Culture Minister Yahya Yakhluf in the presidential palace in Damascus, during which the latter delivered a letter from Arafat on developments in the Palestinian territories, SANA news agency reported. (Albawaba.com)
