Daman facilitates new visa process – Visitor's Plan effective from 29th of July

 30/60/90 days health insurance packages now available from Daman – with a coverage limit of up to AED 100,000 per person

As per Ministerial Decision No. 322/2008, which affects all applications for visit visas in the UAE, The National Health Insurance Company- Daman launches its Visitor's Plan to facilitate visa applications’ procedures after receiving the necessary authorization.
 
According to the new changes to the national visa system, several different types are now available for visitors. As of 1st of August, it has become mandatory under the newly implemented visa regulations to show proof of health insurance.

“As the nation’s primary health insurance company, we are always at the forefront to support any national developments and changes. The new Visitor's Plan has been specifically designed to provide emergency In-patient healthcare insurance for any visitor, which facilitates the visa application process as well as the visitor’s stay in the UAE,” commented Dr Michael Bitzer, CEO of Daman. “Three insurance-packages are ready for immediate use with competitive and affordable prices so to further provide some peace of mind for the visitors.”
Dr. Michael added that the validity of this heath insurance policy will be terminated with the expiry of the visa and Daman will not be responsible for any emergency medical coverage exceeding the visa period.

The three visitor-packages are valid for 30, 60 and 90 days with gross premiums of AED 40, 70 and 90 respectively. Benefits will cover In-Patient emergency medical conditions in Daman’s UAE network only and are limited to AED 100,000 per person.
