An Iraqi official says Daesh militants execute 50 civilians in the conflict-ridden northern Iraqi province of Nineveh every day as they continue war crimes on a large scale in the areas under their control.
The member of the Security and Defense Committee in the Iraqi parliament, Nayef al-Shammari, told Arabic-language al-Sumaria satellite television network on Thursday that Daesh terrorists kill 50 residents of the province on a daily basis.
“We hope that the operation to liberate Nineveh will be fast. The province bleeds every day. An average of 50 people is executed by ISIS (Daesh) daily,” Shammari noted.
He added, "The people of Nineveh are demanding the liberation of their province each and every day.
