Daesh (ISIS) has claimed responsibility for a suicide bomb attack on a Shiite mosque in Yemen's capital Sanaa, AFP reported Thursday.
At least 25 people were killed and dozens more wounded in the explosion, which targeted Shiite Houthi rebels Daesh has called "infidels" at the Balili Mosque.
Witnesses said the mosque was the rebels' place of worship and is located near a police academy.
Daesh has exploited the conflict in Yemen since the Saudi-led coalition began conducting airstrikes in late March.
