D-Link Honored For Its “Green” Initiative By Consumer Electronics Association Mark Of Excellence
Today the global end-to-end networking solutions provider for consumer and business proudly announced that the company has been named a finalist in the Consumer Electronics Association’s (CEA®) annual Mark of Excellence Awards competition for its D-Link Green™ technology policies.
Presented by CEA’s TechHome Division, the Mark of Excellence Awards program recognizes the best in home electronics products, services, and installed technology. Each year, manufacturers, distributors, and systems integrators compete in various award categories for this distinct honor through the judgment of an expert panel comprised of independent industry experts, such as system integrators, manufacturers, members of the industry trade press and consultants.
The award for “Best Green Product, Service, or Corporate Policy” recognizes a manufacturer for a green product or practice that best saves energy or natural resources or a service or corporate policy/strategy, which promotes environmentally/planet friendly practices such as recycling programs, reduced packaging, technologies to reduce travel and/or supports or promotes state or federal legislation (i.e. Leeds).
