Cypriot Commerce, Industry and Tourism Minister Nicos Rolandis concluded his official visit to Cairo Sunday, in which he discussed the trade relations between Cyprus and Egypt, investment and tourism matters, and the provision of Egyptian natural gas to Cyprus through Syria.
During Rolandis' discussions in Cairo with Egyptian officials, it was determined that most of the problems that had risen in the past regarding the transportation of natural gas to Cyprus have been overcome.
In addition, it was agreed upon that the five interested parties, namely Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon and Cyprus, would meet in Amman, Jordan in April to further discuss the issue, according to CNA. (Albawaba.com)
