Cubecorp and ATH to develop world class ict center in Jordan
Data Center Project Will Target Regional Opportunities and Establish Amman as the Regional Hub for ITO Solutions

Cubecorp announced today that it has completed the design phase of a world class ICT Center project to be constructed in Amman, Jordan.  Under development in partnership with Accelerator Technology Holdings (ATH), the ICT Center will serve as a regional outsourcing destination for contact centers, business process outsourcing (BPO) and disaster recovery.
“The ICT Center project will enhance the development and adoption of world-class information and communications technology services in the Arab World through a significant investment that improves regional interconnectivity and facilitates access to enabling information technologies for business and government clients” said Fawaz H. Zu’bi, CEO of ATH.   “Through the solid partnership we have forged with CubeCorp, we are allowing for technology and management transfer from a leading global firm which is considered among the top data center developers and operators in the world”.
Cubecorp, a company that provides comprehensive services for the planning, financing, design, development, commissioning and operations of mission critical information and communications technology facilities and infrastructure, has completed the business planning and design phase of the ICT Center, slated for full scale development in 2009.
“Much of the groundwork has been completed, and we have initiated the site selection phase” added Manny Mencia, CEO of CubeCorp. “Once the ICT Center is completed, customers will have access to an innovative service portfolio of data center products and services, including Virtualized and On-demand solutions, Colocation, Cross Connects, Network and Bandwidth, Managed Hosting, Managed Storage, Back-up and Restore Services, Managed Security, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery solutions.”
The ICT Center will also integrate state-of-the-art Green Data Center solutions aimed at significantly reducing the total operating expense and carbon footprint of the ICT Center.
Upon completion, the ICT Center will establish Amman, Jordan as a regional outsourcing destination for contact centers, business process outsourcing (BPO) and disaster recovery operations, by creating a center from which firms can develop IT solutions and applications for growing industrial sectors (e.g. health care, banking, and gaming) as well as increasing the capacity in ICT firms to improve international competitiveness.  The ICT Center will also capitalize on Jordan’s well educated IT workforce and first rate technology education initiatives.
