On the sidelines of the World Economic Forum, Israeli Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom met Sunday at a Dead Sea resort with the crown prince of Bahrain, with whom the Jewish state has no formal ties.
During the meeting with Salman bin Hamad, the two discussed the peace process, Israeli reports said. Shalom stated, "I have no doubt that we have a common future together, and that the relations between the two countries must be strengthened. We are serious in our intentions, and we wish to upgrade our ties." "We are in very intensive dialogues with the Arab world to put and end to the Arab-Israeli conflict," Shalom told reporters.
On his part, Crown Prince bin Hamad stated that he hoped that there would be movement in the peace process. (Albawaba.com)
