The Conclusion of Amman Summer Festival 2010

The 5th edition of Amman Summer Festival, organized by Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) at Al Hussein Parks with the participation of many local artists and bands, have come to an end.
On its final night, the Festival hosted a concert with Jordanian artist, Hussein Al Salman, preceded by folkloric performances inspired by the Jordanian popular heritage and presented by the Jordanian band Heil.
The Egyptian international band Al Marah amused the audience with a distinctive show from the Sufi tradition. With the famous skirt dance, the dancer astonished the audience with his tableau, dancing and spinning while controlling his skirt and moving with the music in a fast pace and harmonious matter. 
The night also hosted Star Academy celebrities, Bashar Ghzawi and Salma Ghazali performing a successful concert among a huge audience.
Bashar Ghzawi, started the concert with a medley of many new and old popular Arabic songs, joined later by Salma who   performed a lively show engaging her audience with her songs.
 On Thursday, Jordanian artist Nahawand presented her tableau on the main stage accompanied by GAM’s Band. She performed several well known songs such as “Sagr Al ‘Arab”, “Sobu Al Gahwah”, “Bas Erfa’ Eidak”, “Mayel ‘Egalak”, and “Laktob Esmek ya Bladi”.
Nahawand’s opening acts  were Al Khareqoun Band (the Incredible) who performed Break Dance shows and Cordoba Band who played music pieces using the guitar.
