The Algerian organization ONDA has recently published a collection of 40 popular poems in Arabic. El Moudjahid reports that a commission created within ONDA carried out a long research and went through old texts in order to compile this collection. The head of the commission Abdelkrim Amimour indicated that the aim of this collection is to keep Algerian inheritance and culture alive. He also noted that the Commission will also prepare a dictionary which will serve as a reference for students and academicians interested in Arabic poetry
