Twenty-two year old Emma Al Khatib has a lot to be happy about this summer, having just won an all expenses paid trip to the FIFA World Cup 2006 in Germany from KIA Jordan. Emma, who will be attending one of the quarter final games between June 30th and July 4th, entered the KIA contest that took place last month.

“It is all so exciting! This is the first time I win anything at all and to win an all expenses paid trip to Germany to watch history in the making is such a great honor. My friends and family are so happy for me and I really want to thank KIA for the opportunity,” said the lucky grand prize winner.

For a month and a half, a KIA Sportage 4x4, filled with Mobilecom branded footballs has toured Amman, enticing passers by to estimate the number of balls for a chance to win the grand prize.

In handing Emma her grand prize, General Manager of KIA Jordan, Nihad Zacharia said: “Congratulations to Emma. We hope she has a fabulous time and we look forward to hearing about it all when she returns. It is a great feeling to be able to be a part of the ongoing energy surrounding the world right now for the FIFA World Cup 2006. We thought it would be an ideal time to involve the local community in the festive spirit of an event that brings different parts of the world together in sport and fun.”

“We would also like to thank Mobilecom for their contribution and generosity in supporting this campaign” Added Mr. Zacharia

In partnership with KIA, Mobilecom distributed prizes to nine other winners such as the Sony Ericsson W900, the Nokia N70 and the Motorola El ROKR.
