In collaboration with the E-Government program, STS, the Jordanian leading IT service and enterprise solutions provider, and through the development works contracted to the development of E-Gate, launched the Ministry of Foreign Affair's official website portal along with five Jordanian embassies websites abroad, utilizing IBM's leading technologies. The project was launched with the presence of Bassem Al Roussan, Minister of   ICT and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Salah AlDin AL Bashir, due to its significant role in facilitating governmental procedures for Jordanians and brethren Arab and Foreign citizens in and outside the Kingdom.

"This project aims to connect five Jordanian embassies websites abroad to that of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs through the Government's E-Gate, to ensure constant update of the published content by the Ministry's staff and Jordanian embassies in a safe and secure approach, providing Jordanian citizens in the Kingdom and abroad with the latest news and information" stated Hassan Hourani, Director of e-Government Program. 

"During the upcoming period, the Jordanian embassies website will be connected to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the project will also entail the provision of an email service to the Ministry and Jordanian Embassies through connecting the Ministry to the secure government network and the government's operation center, in addition to the improvements necessary for the main website of the Foreign Ministry, with full compliance to performance standards of optimum quality," added Al Hourani.

For his part, Ramzi Zeine, Executive Chairman at STS stated "We strongly believe in the vitality of providing the governmental sector with technical requirements essential for creating a professional working environment to activate the systems needed for developing the new website portal, utilizing the latest IBM technologies for content management and testing of the new Jordanian embassies' websites and their components as part of the launch initiative. This has been done through integrating the capabilities and expertise of our competent cadres and the efficiency of the Ministry's website handlers in manner ensuring its sustainability in terms of content modernization to the required level that guarantee finest superiority".
