Cognos (Nasdaq: COGN; TSX: CSN), the world leader in business intelligence and performance management solutions, has announced that its regional partner in the Middle East, BSG (Business Systems Group), has become an authorised training partner.
The partnership means that BSG, distributors of business intelligence (BI) solutions in the Middle East, will now be able to deliver Cognos training courses to customers and becomes the first company in the Middle East to deliver Cognos 8 Business Intelligence training courses.

This certification scheme will help IT staff gain expertise in business intelligence systems. Cognos training will be offered by BSG at their training facilities initially in Dubai, and then in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Training will be delivered by Cognos certified professionals tutored on the structured training methodology employed by Cognos worldwide.
