Yemeni rebels sparked clashes at Sanaa international airport Tuesday, leaving 4 people dead, according to the Associated Press (AP).
Three security guards and one Shia rebel were killed in overnight clashes after the rebels tried to impose their authority on the airport. Two other guards and an airport employee were wounded, AP reports.
The rebels took control of Sanaa in September and have taken over numerous other towns after battles with al Qaeda militants and Sunni tribesman.
