Chili's UAE Aligns with NBA basketball player Jawann Oldham
Chili's UAE, a member of Saleh Bin Lahej Group, is set to sponsor Jawann Oldham's Academy. Chili's will deliver lunch suited to participants' sports diet on a daily basis. Jawann Oldham a well known NBA player from the United States, founded the Dubai based Basketball Academy in 2007 to encourage young basketball talent in the region by putting to use his years of experience playing on a professional league.
“We want to encourage young basketball talent in the region and are committed to involve ourselves with nutritional requirements for the local community” commented Osama Salhin, President of the Hospitality Division of Saleh Bin Lahej Group (EIR), which franchises 17 Chili’s restaurants in Dubai, Sharjah, Al-Ain, Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah in the UAE.
Chili’s, a popular favorite choice of restaurant in the UAE, prides itself on bold southwestern taste which is unique to the area. Jawann Oldham remarked: “I chose Chili's because of the quality and the quantity of food presented. Chili's has always been the team's favorite place for a meal after a long tiring day on the court.” Jawann added to this: “The kids just love Chili's menu offerings; the food is fresh and tasty, making the perfect treat after a day of slam-dunking!”
Chili’s has grown considerably throughout the UAE with 17 branches to date.
