Chicago GSB introduces the Accelerated Development Programme for executives
Inaugural sessions starting February 2009 in London
For executives on the fast track to success, the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business’ Accelerated Development Programme (ADP) is designed to get them there even quicker. Combining Chicago GSB’s expertise in executive education, the new programme provides maximum exposure to key business concepts and strategies in an intensive format.
Accelerated executive learning
ADP is for senior functional managers, with at least 10 years of business experience, ready to take the next step in their career. Executives who need to develop a wider general management perspective outside their traditional area of control and expertise will learn how to competitively position themselves and their company while developing a comprehensive understanding of the critical functional areas of their business.
With access to the latest thinking and tools, participants will strengthen strategic decision-making skills and enhance strategic thinking, build and learn to shape organizational culture and structures that create value, and network with key executives from other organisations.
Convenient modular format
Consisting of five three-day sessions taught over four months, ADP is structured to minimize disruption to participants’ careers and daily lives. ADP allows executives to gain the critical insight they need to stay ahead without taking too much time off work.
Because there are no exams to prepare for, ADP allows participants to maximize their time spent on the learning experience. Upon successful completion of the programme, participants will receive the Accelerated Development Programme certificate from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business at a closing gala dinner.
Classes are held at Woolgate Exchange, Chicago GSB’s Europe Campus, conveniently located in London’s financial district close to the Bank of England. Topics are presented in a variety of formats including lectures, case studies and small group discussions, with instructors using a range of audio-visual media presentations.
