ALBAWABA- A car plowed into a group of people in Munich, injuring at least 15, according to police. 

The incident occurred in the Dachauer Strasse area near the city's central train station, prompting a major emergency response.

Authorities confirmed that the driver was detained at the scene and no longer poses a threat. Local media reports indicate that the crash took place near a rally linked to the transport union Verdi.

The attack comes just hours before world leaders, including Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky and U.S. Vice President JD Vance, are set to arrive for the Munich Security Conference on Friday.
