The i-SENSYS FAX L-140 is a standalone fax with copy functionality, while the
i-SENSYS FAX L-160 adds 14ppm printing via its USB port.

(i-SENSYS FAX L-160 only)

Fast faxing
The Super G3 modem on the i-SENSYS FAX L-160 and i-SENSYS FAX L-140 offers users fast faxing with a transmission speed as low as 3 seconds per page. A large 340 page memory means that received faxes will be stored if paper or toner have run out. Multiple faxes can also be scanned in rapidly via the 30 sheet Automatic Document Feeder and sent from the memory, freeing up the user’s time.
The i-SENSYS FAX L-160 and i-SENSYS FAX L-140 provide several features to increase efficiency. Dual Access technology means users can store outgoing faxes into memory for sending, at the same time as incoming faxes are being received – no need to wait. Delayed Transmission allows companies to save on transmission costs by scheduling big fax jobs for off-peak hours. 15 one-touch and 100 coded speed dials allow frequently-used fax numbers to be stored in memory for instant recall. An improved user interface features a two-line backlit display for greater ease of use.
High quality output
With UHQ (Ultra High Quality) technology enabling up to 256 greyscales, the
i-SENSYS FAX L-160 and i-SENSYS FAX L-140 can fax documents containing diagrams, photos or text with minimal loss of detail. Canon’s FX-10 All-in-One Cartridge provides consistent print quality with minimal maintenance. Since all components that require replacing are contained within the All-in-One cartridge, only one consumable needs to kept in stock – ensuring maximum uptime.
Both models offer copying at 12cpm. The i-SENSYS FAX L-160 gives users the added convenience of high quality (600dpi) laser printing at 14ppm. Quick First-Print performance means the i-SENSYS FAX L-160 is ready to print almost instantly, even from sleep mode – a real benefit for offices that regularly print small jobs.
Energy efficient operation
The i-SENSYS FAX L-160 and i-SENSYS FAX L-140 employ Canon’s On-Demand Fixing Technology to ensure zero warm-up time. As well as reducing the wait for prints, copies and faxes, On-Demand Fixing helps to saves money – and the environment – with lower power consumption than conventional fixing methods. Both models are also easy on power when not in use, consuming just 3W in sleep mode.
