A Canadian priest detained at Beirut airport on a charge of spying for Israel has been committed to trial before a Beirut military tribunal as of August 11.
The Reverend Bruce John Balfour, 52, was arrested by officers of Lebanon's General Security Department, upon presenting his passport to the security counter at the airport on July 10.
