A Canadian national was stabbed Saturday while shopping in eastern Saudi Arabia, security forces confirmed.
Police arrested the culprit – a local Arab, after he attacked the Canadian man with a sharp metal tool in a shopping mall.
Security spokesman Ziyad Al Raqbaty said an investigation has been launched while the injured man remains in hospital.
The latest attack comes a week after a Danish citizen was shot in the country’s capital, Riyadh.
