Cairo Amman Bank has announced the appointment of Mrs. Simona Sabella Bishouty as Deputy General Manager of Banking Services effective January 1st 2008, following the recent appointment of Mr. Kamal Al-Bakri as General Manager and completes the Bank’s new senior management restructuring, all aimed at underpinning the continuous growth and development of the Bank.
“We are confident that the distinctive expertise of Mrs. Simona, and her valuable contributions so far will enable Cairo Amman Bank to achieve significant milestones in the future. The reorganization of our senior management structure, following so closely on the heels of our recent rebranding, underlines our total commitment to driving the Bank to even greater heights.” said Mr. Kamal Al-Bakri, General Manager of Cairo Amman Bank.
Al-Bakri added “We have an aggressive plan ahead of us bringing in new technologies and products and services that not only reach regional standards but are distinctively world class. To do this we will be leveraging our senior management team’s highly distinctive leadership skills to achieve excellence creatively and effectively, and in accordance with international standards.”
Mrs. Simona highlighted that she would follow the journey already started by Mr. Al-Bakri by launching numerous planned initiatives that would push the Bank’s development process further, underpinning its core values and strategic plans, and in accordance with the Basel (2) principals, best practices and the regulations and laws organizing the financial and banking profession.
Mrs. Simona Bishouty is an accomplished banker and has an extensive history with Cairo Amman Bank where she held the position of Assistant General Manager , (Retail and Credit), and the latest of which Assistant General Manager Risk Management and Compliance. She has assisted in the development and establishment the Bank's retail strategy as well as overseeing the functions of many departments including the consumer loans department, housing loans, lending to small businesses. Mrs. Simona represents the bank on the Board of Directors of The Jordan Mortgage Refinance Company, and VISA Jordan Card Services Company.
