Computer Associates, one of the world’s largest management software companies, announced the appointment of Marsons Corporation as its distributor for Pakistan. The appointment was announced at Pakistan’s International conference on Information Technology 2005 (ITCN) held in Karachi on 9 – 11 August 2005. Marsons will take a lead role in helping to drive CA’s channel strategy across the country and to reinforce CA’s commitment to bring its leading-edge security, storage, and systems management solutions to its Pakistani customers and partners.

Established in 1987, Marsons has established itself as a leading distributor in Pakistan through its partnerships with some of the world’s leading vendors including Acer, Cisco Systems, Intel and Microsoft. With over 3,000 reseller partners, Marsons will be responsible for the distribution of CA’s enterprise and SMB solutions across Pakistan, and will provide technical service support to resellers through its trained IT professionals.

Marsons will act as a distributor for CA’s Unicenter DNA and eTrust PestPatrol Anti-Spyware, as well as CA’s SMB and retail protection suites including eTrust Antivirus, eTrust EZ Armor, eTrust Firewall and eTrust PestPatrol Anti-Spyware.
