Computer Associates (CA), one of the world’s largest management software companies, today announced its participation at GITEX 2005, its second successive direct participation at the show, which also commemorates one year of successful accomplishments in the region.

Visitors to CA’s stand G9-1 in the Sheikh Rashid Hall will see first hand, and through an innovative display, the full range of solutions that have been adopted by 95 percent of the global 1000 companies and leading enterprises and government institutions in the Arab world.

Gilbert Lacroix, VP & general manager for CA in the Arab countries, said, “Since launching our direct operation in September 2004, we have invested millions of dollars to ensure that our customers and partners benefit from CA’s solutions and technical expertise.  We are excited to share our successes in the first year of operation with customers, partners and the media, and we are especially grateful for the confidence they have shown in the quality of service and support that has been achieved in such a short period of time.”

CA is launching several flagship solutions, products and programs during GITEX 2005, in coordination with local and global alliance partners. CA will, for the first time, showcase a fully functional Network Command Center (NOC) that demonstrates how CA solutions in security, storage and network & systems management fully integrate in a simulation that replicates a real-world enterprise environment.
“CA is going all-out this GITEX 2005 to bring its most advanced solutions and technologies to the region,” said Ned Jaroudi, regional marketing director for CA in the Arab countries.  “Customers, partners and the media will have an opportunity to see all of CA’s latest solutions at work through the NOC, the first ever of its kind by CA in the region. We are also hosting a number of partners on the stand who will showcase how their offerings complement CA’s.”

In addition, CA will also host a number of key executives at GITEX 2005, including senior vice president and general manager of EMEA at Computer Associates, as well as other key directors from the EMEA region.
