BurJuman to host five-hour
BurJuman, a key sponsor of Dubai Summer Surprises 2008 and a member of Dubai Shopping Malls Group (DSMG), will host the Modhesh Party on July 10, in a five-hour long festivity marked by exciting stage shows, colourful carnivals, cake cutting, and a host of planned activities for children. Only four such parties are being organized throughout DSS 2008 and the first one was held at Ibn Battuta Mall, also a key sponsor of DSS this year.
The party is completely based on the theme of Modhesh and stage settings will reflect the spirit of DSS. Balloon decorations will adorn the party area to let everyone know of the event, and a balloon sculpture of Modhesh and the number 11, to denote the eleventh edition of DSS, will also be displayed.
The main stage for the evening will be the attraction of the party, beginning with numerous games and competitions for children.
A group of performers, including stilt walkers, jugglers, clowns, balloon benders, and unicyclists will roam the venue adding to the vibrant atmosphere at the party. An endless range of activities are being organized for children during the party. An exclusive Arts and Crafts area is being set up that will include face painting, classes to make personalized handbags, and tips to make paper sculptures.
Grand Entry by Modhesh
At exactly 7:30pm, Modhesh the bubbly mascot, will make a grand entry to the party, greeting his fans and joining in the celebrations. Modhesh will take time out to meet children and families and spread his enigmatic smile to all gathered.
No party is complete without a cake and the cutting of the Modhesh Cake, measuring a massive 2.5 metres by 1.5 metres, will be accompanied by a shower of confetti and a balloon drop providing the perfect ending to a whole evening of celebration.
