A Briton was seriously wounded after he was shot in the neck in Oman, the British Foreign Office has said. The Omani police are investigating the shooting incident which took place in Muscat on Sunday, it added, according to the BBC website.
British Embassy officials, who are monitoring the investigation, said the Briton was shot near a medical centre. (albawaba.com)
