This visit coincided with recent statements by Prime Minister Cameron indicating Britain's consideration of recognizing the State of Palestine and supporting its permanent membership at the UN as an independent state.
During his visit, Macron met with the Saudi Crown Prince, Mohammed Bin Salman, to discuss various aspects of bilateral relations between the two countries, including areas of joint cooperation and strategies to enhance and expand them.
