Exhilarating Lessons at Dubai Autodrome Aimed at Driving Enthusiast
Bridgestone is hotting up the streets with the introduction of new POTENZA Driving Lessons at Dubai Autodrome, Dubai.
From the 12 to 14 May 2007, selected motor enthusiasts have been invited for a first hand experience of POTENZA Driving Lessons, a new concept aimed to raise awareness of safe and proper sports driving techniques developed in cooperation with former F1 driver Stefano Modena.
Already a success in Japan, The POTENZA Driving Lessons were developed using the knowledge and experience from motorsport activities from all over the world. Part of a long term initiative from Bridgestone, the first three days of lessons in Dubai are for Bridgestone’s motoring enthusiasts and are the first in a series of sessions for sports drivers.
“We decided to host interactive driving lessons to provide a chance for motoring fans to enjoy sports driving in a safe and supervised environment. Using cars fitted with the new POTENZA RE001 Adrenalin will effectively convey the joy and pleasure of sports driving to our target market and cultivate POTENZA supporters in the region” said Mr. Kanahara, President, Bridgestone Middle East & Africa FZE, Dubai.
During the POTENZA Driving Lessons guests will be introduced to the recently launched POTENZA RE001 Adrenalin, the most suitable tyre for street sports driving, whilst enjoying safe and proper sports driving.
“The driving lessons allow us to teach know how techniques and safe sports driving, whilst showcasing the unique performance factors of the POTENZA RE001 Adrenalin such as stability in all situations, precision, accuracy and the sensation of becoming at one with a vehicle when tyres and suspension respond successfully every time’” continued Mr. Kanahara.
Demonstrating the company’s commitment to promoting the role and importance of the tyres for sports driving, the POTENZA Driving Lessons will initially be held twice a year for target drivers in the Middle East & Africa.
