According to Al Arabiya English, Houthi rebels have stormed the offices of Yemen's Al AKhbar al-Youm newspaper and have detained the staff.

"Three cars full of armed Houthis seized the newspaper's building and detained several editors and some employees inside," Ibrahim Mujahid, the newspaper's editor-in-chief, told Reuters by telephone.

The newspaper has been critical of the Houthis.

It is unclear if the armed men have made any demands.
