A security source confirmed that the French Ambassador in Amman David Bertolotti, and his wife and two children, were wounded in a car crash on Saturday evening.
Their vehicle was implicated in an accident while it was travelling to Aqaba.
The source said the incident involved the Ambassador and his family, and their driver. Although they were injured and the vehicles were damaged, the source explained that they were in good health and there were no casualties.
The source added that the injured parties were rushed to the Prince Hashem military hospital for treatment.
