The Brazilian President, Luis Inacio Lula da Silva and his wife arrived in Damascus Wednesday for a two-day official visit to Syria. The tour is aimed at boosting Brazil's economic ties in the region and will include also visits to Lebanon, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Egypt and Libya.
