The Moroccan ambassador to Colombia, Mohamed Khattabi, has recently presided over two conferences at Piloto University of Bogota, concerning the Moroccan-Andalusian cultural, traditional and scientific legacies transferred to Latin America through the Iberian Peninsula.

The Moroccan ambassador was invited by the rector of Piloto University, Jose Alberto Alvarado to deliver his lectures as part of a series of conferences and debates held in the University in the framework of an international cultural week, which hosts a long series of intellectuals and academicians coming from Colombia itself and elsewhere in the world including China and Spain.

Bladi.Net reports that on the same occasion, the Colombian hosts were also presented with the Morocco’s nowadays achievements, through a Spanish documentary film on contemporary Morocco.
