ALBAWABA - American officials revealed that US President Biden is planning to hold a talk with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday to discuss a possible response to Iran.

Iran fired hundreds of ballistic missiles towards Israel on October 1, in a revenge attack over the killing of Hamas Leader Ismail Haniyeh and Hezbollah secretary-general Hassan Nasrallah.

The October 1 attack is the second Iranian direct attack on Tel Aviv as in April, Tehran also launched a missile attack targeting Israel.

Netanyahu and the Israeli government vowed to retaliate against the Iranian attack and yesterday, the Israeli PM held a meeting with the government and discussed a possible 'attack on Iran' plan.

Axios reported citing three American officials that Biden will have a "crucial phone call" with Netanyahu about Israel's plans to strike Iran confirming that this talk is the first in two months.

According to sources, Israel's retaliation will target military sites in Iran and clandestine attacks similar to the one that killed Haniyeh in Tehran during his visit to attend the inauguration of the Iranian president Masoud Pezeshkian.
