Tunisia's President Zein Abdeen Ben Ali renewed Monday his country's commitment to the Arab Maghreb Union, as a "strategic option," and its resolve to expand cooperation and integration among its member states.
The Tunisian news agency reported that the Tunisian leader reaffirmed during his meeting with the Secretary General of the Arab Maghreb Union, al-Habib Abualaras, his country's resolve to activate the structures of the Arab Maghreb Union in order to serve the "aspirations and interests of the people of the region."
