The Belhasa Driving Center (BDC) announced today, (Monday, July 04, 2005), the launch of an innovative customer loyalty program for the first time in the UAE. The Customer Relationship Management (CRM) based program focuses on building long term relationships with BDC’s core customers, by rewarding them for being loyal patrons of the driving center.
A BDC Loyalty Card holder will be entitled to a wide range of benefits, including an opportunity to earn cash incentives. All past and present students of BDC can apply for the loyalty cards from any branch of the driving center located across Dubai. Moreover, the loyalty card can also be availed by non BDC customers.
“The main objective of introducing such a novel customer loyalty program in the region is to build on the strong relationship we create with our ever-expanding customer base,” said Saif Ahmed Belhasa, Chairman and Managing Director, Belhasa Driving Center. “BDC believes in the concept of creating customers for life and ensuring that all our customers are benefited by our value added offerings that range from cash rewards for referrals to emergency road assistance and accidental death insurance.”
“This initiative marks the next level in our relationship with our customers, a relationship which is mutually beneficial and long lasting. We hope that all our valued customers make the most of this one-of-a kind program,” added Belhasa.
The loyalty card holder can earn loyalty points by referring a person to any of the Belhasa Driving Center branches for any driving course. Every dirham spent by the referral entitles the card holder to earn one point. The number of points earned will be equivalent to one per cent of the total amount spent by the referral. For example, if the referral spends AED 1000, the loyalty card holder earns 1000 points, which equates to AED 10. The loyalty points earned will be issued as cash cheques every two months.
Further, BDC is partnering with the International Motoring Club (IMC), a premier motoring association offering a wide variety of automobile solutions to the motorists in the Middle East, to provide members of the loyalty card program, free emergency roadside assistance services. This service, limited to five times a year, is available round-the-clock anywhere in the UAE and includes towing, battery boost, flat tyre fixing, emergency fuel delivery and lock-out service.
Commenting on their partnership with BDC, Matt Philips, CEO of International Motoring Club said, “We are extremely pleased to be strategically associated with BDC, which is a globally recognised driving center, providing training of the very highest quality. The center has carved a niche for itself in the competitive driver training market of UAE, with its superior infrastructure facilities and its unwavering commitment to quality. The loyalty card program is a timely introduction that will further strengthen the bond between BDC and its customers and we are glad to extend our support to this initiative. Our range of free emergency roadside assistance services will be a real boon to the loyalty cardholders of BDC and we assure them of timely and efficient service, round the clock.”
Other privileges for the loyalty card members include accidental death insurance for AED 10,000, up to 20 per cent discount on the international driving license and 20 per cent discount on advanced courses including DIAmond Advanced Motorist, DIAmond Advanced Test, Defensive Driving and Desert Driving.
“In addition to these benefits, the BDC Loyalty Card Members are offered discounts on select automobile companies, vehicle insurance, vehicle repairing garages, car rentals, retail outlets and restaurants throughout the UAE,” said Belhasa.

Quality and professional service have become a hallmark of BDC, which is expanding its services and facilities to benefit a large section of the UAE’s growing population,” he added.
