Batelco Welcomes Umaima Secondary School Students to Batelco Directory Enquiries Department
Batelco recently welcomed a group of students from Umaima Secondary School to the Company’s Customer Assistance Centre, located in Telephone House, Salmaniya. The Customer Assistance Centre houses Batelco’s Directory Enquiries Department.
The students enjoyed a tour of the department and had the opportunity to see Batelco staff in action dealing with calls to Batelco’s 181 and 188 directory enquiries. The department handles around 40,000 calls per day from fixed lines and mobile phones.
Batelco regularly facilitates tours for students from secondary schools and universities, as part of the telecommunication company’s commitment to support community initiatives.
