The British Barclays’Card Corporation and Egypt Bank (public sector) have recently signed a banking partnership agreement in the credit card field.
The agreement signed in Cairo and London simultaneously states that Barclays’ Card Corporation shall provide Egypt Bank with all the technical needs. These include the know-how necessary for the electronic payment services sector and training the Egyptian Bank employees on the new systems.
The agreement also states that Egypt Bank should expand its credit cards users and clients base and disseminate awareness throughout Egypt.
