Two senior Bahraini officials left Manama Tuesday for Washington DC to hold top-level talks on boosting trade ties, reported the official Gulf News Agency (GNA).
It said that Minister Finance and National Economy Abdull Bin Hassan Saif, and the Governor of the Bahrain Monetary Agency Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, would hold meetings with a number of financial, banking, economic and investment establishments on aspects of cooperation.
The visit comes within the framework of efforts to enhance economic and investment cooperation to attract more foreign investors to Bahrain, said GNA.
Bahrain’s emir, Sheikh Hamad bin Issa Al Khalifa, held talks with US President George W. Bush in Washington early last month. Both leaders agreed to boost bilateral ties in all fields – Albawaba.com
