Mrs. Wafa Yousif Al Sayd, mother of four children and a resident of Arad, Bahrain, is the proud winner of the "Million Miles" draw promotion by Gulf Air.
Mrs. Wafa won the prize of a million miles in a draw held last week at the end of the "Race 2 Win a Million Miles" promotion run by Bahrain Duty Free in association with the Gulf Air Frequent Flyer Programme.
During a function held at Gulf Air’s headquarters, Mr. Mohammed Ahmed Al Jassim, husband of Mrs. Wafa, received the million miles voucher from Gulf Air Manager Loyalty programmes Louise Robertson and General Manager, Bahrain Duty Free Mr. Maurice Burke.
"It is incredible," said Mr. Al Jassim accepting the million miles gift voucher. "We will use the miles for our entire family to travel to Thailand and Beirut this summer and later to other destinations."
"I travel at least six times a year, both on short trips and long vacations and I always fly Gulf Air. The staff are extremely friendly and always helpful with the children, the Sky Nanny is fantastic"
A mechanical engineer by profession, Mr. Al Jassim works for King Fahd Causeway Authority as Maintenance Administration Manager.
As the Gulf Air million miles winner, the Al Jassim family will be able to travel for free, to any of the 50 Gulf Air or Gulf Traveller destinations worldwide.
For example they can enjoy 166 return flights from Bahrain to Dubai, or experience the luxury of our First or Business Class cabins and enjoy Gulf Air’s SkyBeds on flights from Bahrain to key European destinations including London, Paris, Frankfurt or Dublin. Alternatively, they can use the million miles to travel to Sydney nine times.
"Gulf Air’s Frequent flyer programme has been a winner all the way”, says Gulf Air Head of Marketing Shane O'Hare.
"Gulf Air offers one of the most generous loyalty programmes in the airline business with benefits that include an extended mile life of 10 years, excess baggage allowance, priority check-in, baggage handling as well as priority waitlisting if our flights are full. We also offer lounge access depending on membership level."
